Billionaire Jack Dorsey just launched an app where users can send bitcoin without internet. The app is called Bitchat, launched by Jack Dorsey. It enables offline messaging and Bitcoin transfers via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh networks. Users pre-sign transactions in a wallet, then relay them peer-to-peer across devices (up to 7 hops). Transactions finalize on the blockchain only when a connected device broadcasts them. Available on iOS TestFlight and Android via GitHub.
